Things I've Been Doing
I've been making mobiles. Attached image is my last big seahorse mobile, two more in the works.
Also, carving. But don't have a photo of the alabaster shuttle I made.
I have done three doggie portraits for a family but am unable to show them as they were a commission.
So enjoy going to other blogspots and seeing everyone's beautiful paintings. Spring is here, as is the rain! UGH! But we have been blessed to have missed the disasters inflicted upon other parts of the country.

Mississippi River at Sunset - Louisiana, Missouri
Being the river rat I am, I found an overlook park in Louisiana, Missouri. It seems I now plan trips to see my son around getting to Louisiana at sunset! I am going to start painting river scenes and sunset or sunrise until I reach a comfort zone. I just love being around water. Unfortunately, the Missouri is in flood stage locally so I will be painting more tugs pushing barges, etc.
Hope you enjoy. I had a great time with this. Probably won't do any more - just on to the next "experiment".
pastel, about 9 x 12, canson paper

Recent Cloche
Trying something new - cloche with needle felted flowers (supposed to be hydrangea but. . .). Anyway, I enjoyed this one and will shortly be starting another - Poppies!
Have a painting (pastel, 12 x 16) of my favorite cat friend Frankie, sunbathing on his throne!
Enjoying winter, knitting a lot, tatting some. We have been lucky weather-wise, not too bad.
